OA Alliance Co-Founder Gives Remarks at 2017 World Ocean Summit

We are proud to announce that the OA Alliance will be participating in the upcoming 4th annual World Ocean Summit, hosted by The Economist February 22-24th in Bali, Indonesia.

The World Ocean Summit has traditionally focused on financing and investing in our ocean resources. This year the World Ocean Summit agenda features an impressive suite of panels on climate impacts to the ocean, climate change risk and financing, and de-carbonization in shipping. Please check out the full agenda here. If a representative from your government or organization is planning on attending the World Ocean Summit, and you would like to connect them to the Alliance representative who will also be there, please let us know.

The Alliance continues to recruit new governments and affiliates, building a coalition that demonstrates the diversity of regions, organizations, industries, indigenous peoples, ecosystems, and species that are adversely impacted by ocean acidification and other changing ocean conditions.

As an Alliance member, you are encouraged to invite members to join that share a sense of commitment and urgency for addressing the impacts of ocean acidification on coastal communities, industries and ecosystems.

Thank you again for your work and dedication to the Alliance. We look forward to the work ahead.
