COP 23 SIDE EVENT AND LIVESTREAM FOR MEDIA: 

International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification to announce new members, new plans for action at international climate talks in Bonn

BONN, Germany – The International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification will announce new members and new commitments from world leaders to take action aimed at protecting our oceans and coastal communities from impacts of climate change during an event in Bonn, Germany, organized as part of the United Nations Conference of Parties (COP 23).

The OA Alliance will welcome new members who have joined a growing worldwide coalition of governments committed to creating ocean acidification action plans and learning new and best policy and research approaches from each other: Fiji, Sweden, the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) will be among the new joiners.

The event will be available via live stream for both media attending the international climate talks and those reporting remotely from around the world, by following @PCCLeads.
